Who We Are

SERVING CLIENTS SINCE 1996	IA West is a small business consulting and marketing firm. Our clientele is primarily small to mid-size companies with 1 to 100 employees. We concentrate on these organizations because we understand the challenges you encounter and recognize the customers who are soliciting your products and services. Our Staff
KATRINKA KALARCHIK	Katrinka brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to each project. She holds a certificate in Interior Design and operated a successful home staging business for five years. Katrinka has an education in Business, Marketing Management from Western Governors University and worked for most of her career as a office manager and bookkeeper before launching IA West. She has a fascination with learning and has certifications in Web Development and Administration, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft applications. Her passion for photography has included education from Rocky Mountain School of Photography, as well as many other workshops. Katrinka's work experience has exposed her to project management at MF Williams Construction; software development at Microsoft; high tech consulting at Pittiglio, Rabin, Todd & McGrath (subsidiary of PricewaterhouseCoopers); financial advising at Montana Investment Advisors; manufacturing operations at Diamond Machine Works; mining sales at Minex; and annuity administration at Great Northern Annuity.
SCOTT KALARCHIK	Scott has a successful career in the audio manufacturing industry working for QSC since 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University, Bozeman. Scott assists Katrinka when freelance advanced application, information technology, and database design services are required for their eCommerce and Point-of-Sale clients. Scott's ongoing education includes Cisco CCNA, CCENT, and CCDA certifications, Networked AV Design and Implementation and Programming from SVSi, MCSD in Visual Studio, as well as ongoing management and public speaking from Dale Carnegie and American Management Association.
OUTSOURCING	Similar to our customers keeping a large staff on payroll can be an unnecessary overhead expense. We have a comprehensive database of companies who are available to provide freelance services to our clientele. In addition, we love our vendors and like to support other small to mid-size companies by contracting them to provide hosting, fullfillment, and specialized services.
